Lauren (she/her) has loved to sing from a very young age. This passion grew into a lifetime of musical adventures! Lauren grew up doing lots of musical theater along with many other theater ventures. Her background in theater allows her to understand her students from a playful and adventurous perspective. Lauren has an extensive choir background which has allowed her to understand the importance of rudiments and ear training in her teaching. These skills have been broadened through her studies in her Bachelor’s of Music Degree at the University of Victoria. Lauren enjoys jamming with fellow musicians, playing live shows, as well as writing her own music. She strives to create an inclusive and safe space for her students to learn and grow.
