Aidan McMillen

Aiden's students learn the foundations of music through an array of instruments and often go on to start their own bands and record albums. Whether guitar, piano, or voice; Aiden has guided players through their own uniquely crafted paths. He offers the guidance in writing, composing, and mastering the technical skills to level up. He's also coached established artists on chord theory and worked in the studio helping larger acts prepare live renditions for tour. Whatever style you want to explore, Aidan can meet you there - his taste runs from folk like Big Thief, Noah Kahan, and Bob Dylan to metal like Metallica, Obituary, and Slayer. He listens to every genre without prejudice and teaches all styles with genuine competence as musician who completed RCM Level 8 in both piano and classical guitar, and who has been teaching since the age of 14. By 21 he'd founded one of the largest studios in Airdrie. Fresh to the Island, he brings years of experience to every lesson. Outside the studio, Aidan loves to hike, road trip, and travel he's all about food, new cultures, and the outdoors as he begins this next chapter studying psychology at UVic.
