Trista Monet-Lang

Trista’s students build confidence to express themselves through whatever instrument path they choose. They tend to have a spark and need someone who can provide structure to channel their artistry rather than drill it out of them. Her multi-instrument, multi-genre versatility means she can meet students where their interests lie today and tie it in with the steps on the road to making beautiful music.

With a studio on Cadboro Bay Rd and the ability to deliver in-home lessons across Oak Bay, she is positioned to keep things logistically simple so students can focus on their craft. Her students draw on a wealth of experience as she collectively pulls inspiration from producing her own albums to pursuing her Bachelor of Music in Voice.

Trista is able to help students across a range of instruments from learning their first melody, to writing their first song, to recording something to share with friends and family. She’s walked the path before knows that it’s not always a straight line but that it is always filled with joy.
