Hannah Nickel grew up surrounded by music. Her parents fueled her interest and love of the arts being musicians and singers themselves, and supported her through years of various music lessons and extra curricular activities. Hannah's love of singing and performing lead her to pursue a Bachelor's and Master's degree in music performance. Since moving to Victoria in 2021, she has appeared in featured roles and as a soloist with local groups, most recently as Josephine in H.M.S. Pinafore (Gilbert and Sullivan Society), and Betty Haynes in White Christmas (Victoria on Stage). Hannah also has experience in music directing for a youth production of Footloose with the Sooke Harbour Players. Hannah places her students at the centre of the music learning process, and helps them to define and attain their music goals. Through the use of appropriate learning programmes and pedagogical tools, Hannah seeks to empower, engage and motivate her students as active learners in their own processes. She is excited to be able to pass on her love and passion in music to students in the Victoria area.
