Nicholas has been passionate about music from a young age, beginning his formal training at the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music and later continuing at the Erato School of Music & Performing Arts. With over a decade of classical piano study, he earned his ABRSM Grade 8 Certificate in Piano Performance and Grade 5 in Music Theory. His talent was recognized early on, winning First Place Performer at the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory Student Show and being named Top Performer at All Major School Concerts.
Alongside his solo training, Nicholas has extensive experience in ensemble and accompaniment, having played in high school bands, school assemblies, and church choirs. He regularly performed in live settings, gaining valuable skills in sight-reading, transposition, and collaboration with vocalists and instrumentalists.
Today, Nicholas shares his love of piano as a private tutor, teaching students across Victoria . He is known for his patient, supportive, and creative teaching style, tailoring lessons to each student’s learning needs while emphasizing strong foundations in technique, theory, and musicality. His goal is to help every student build confidence, enjoy the learning process, and develop a lifelong appreciation for music.
