Bela is a multi-instrumentalist who enjoys helping young students discover music in a fun and encouraging environment. She teaches piano, ukulele, guitar, voice, alto saxophone, and violin, and has several years of experience teaching children ages 4–12 through private lessons in both home and studio settings.
Bela draws inspiration from the Suzuki Method, focusing on listening, curiosity, and building confidence through small successes. She believes younger students learn best when lessons balance musical fundamentals with creativity and play. In her lessons, students might explore scales and chords, learn simplified versions of their favourite songs, and finish with musical games or activities like flash cards to reinforce new concepts.
Currently completing studies in Early Learning and Childcare, Bela brings a strong understanding of child development and pedagogy to her teaching. She enjoys adapting lessons to each student’s personality and learning style so that music feels both approachable and exciting.
Bela teaches students in Langford, Colwood, and across the West Shore, and is passionate about helping young musicians build a lifelong love of music.
